Android Application Developer

Job Description

• Design and develop software modules; next-generation client apps for Android platform
• Work with cross-functional groups, including product manager, support and sales , to
   develop new features and expand existing features to meet the needs of a demanding
   market
• Defines objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and
   functionality
• Designs and develops user interfaces to android applications by setting expectations and
   features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies
   and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing
   and conducting tests
• Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom
   development and purchase alternatives
• Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and
   activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production
   problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
• Supports other departments by developing documentation and assistance tools
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and
   different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Desired Profile

• Sound technical education in computer science (e.g. university degree) and/or relevant
   professional experience in android software/application development (at least one year)
• Working experience at least in Full Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) is required
• Good knowledge of HTTP, REST-Services, Web-APIs, HTML, CSS, JS, XML
• Highly analytical and technologically savvy, with strong problem-solving skills
• Candidates who have expertise with JavaScript development will be preferred
• Beneficial: Knowledge in iOS- or any other mobile development, HTML 5
• Working knowledge of Database- my SQL (Lite)
• The ability to pay close attention to detail, develop creative solutions for complex and
  abstract problems and concentrate for long periods of time
• Very good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion for technology and problem solving
• Eager to learn and innovate
• Must have aesthetics sense and international market awareness
• Excellent communication skills a must and candidate must be able to collaborate in a
   team environment
