Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Understanding the dynamics of the specific market for each offering, customer value perceptions and buying criterion, pricing trends, and the relative advantages/disadvantages of Organisation’s range of offerings against key competitors.
2. Effective performance of this role will require frequent interaction with other elements of the Competitive Sales Intelligence (CSI) team, specific SMEs in each IT product line, and Organisation Research.
3. Ability to provide periodic analytical assessments (at least quarterly) of major trends, as well as ad hoc briefings and analysis.
4. Periodic support for sales teams who require competitive and pricing insights on specific products and offerings during major pursuits.
Job Description :
1. Providing assessments of current & potential market size and growth
2. Determining and assessing trends in Organisation’s market share for each area.
3. Understanding Buyer Values & market trends as well as participating in win/loss debriefs to gather first-hand market feedback on TGP product and offering performance.
4.Understanding key competitors’ capabilities and strategies in comparison to Organisation, as well as price points for key services and products
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the IT services market, gained through direct experience in a technology or consulting firm. We’re looking for excellent skills in business strategy, products and offerings analysis, and an understanding of competitive assessment, combined with an innovative approach to intelligence gathering. You will be an accomplished analyst who can tap into primary and secondary sources to provide an integrated and incisive assessment of key trends and developments suitable for a senior leadership audience. In addition to your analytical skills, we also expect an appreciation of working in a complex, global organization since the TGP CSI team supports Organisation businessdevelopment efforts worldwide. Excellent English language skills are therefore essential.
