Collaborative Effort in Education needed

What is Classteacher Learning Systems about?

It is a pioneer name in education technology that uses technology interactive display, tablets, smartphones, internet to transform teaching and learning experiences at schools and homes. It has more than a decade of research into emerging technologies and pedagogy in education and is a thought leader in innovation in school education sector. It was started on the simple premise of marrying education delivery with emerging technologies. It was born out of a passion for both education and technology

What are the advantages? How does it function?

We have means, vision and ideas to improve education in the country. The innovative ideas and tools we are providing to our schools and educators, are providing the essential push to the current education process in the country. Our concepts are built on the latest tools of technology mobile, cloud, learning analytics, social media, yet they are tightly curriculum integrated and solve the basic issues of education.

Why is there need for such a system?

India has everything; the raw talent and the intellect that we have is literally unmatchable. But still we are far below in the chart of best education systems in the world. Our vision is to provide such a support to our schools and create that perfect blend of education and technology that will push our students’ talent to the levels where they can compete with the best in the world. Tell about the Classpad, the new generation tablet?

It is a platform for adaptive mobile learning which is personalised for each learner. It is a solution for teachers and students, an amazing blend of programs and applications which makes the whole process of learning and teaching far more easier and effective than our current methods.
Using Classpad, teachers can effortlessly transfer class work to the student’s tablet, share their own content instantly and conduct tests/assessments hassle free. Students can also give undivided attention to class lessons, attempt assessments and get immediate results to further enhance their learning. Equipped with distinctive software that is designed to integrate smoothly with existing school platforms, These tablet can easily be connected to the interactive whiteboards, projectors and TVs.

What are some of the solutions being provided?

It has a wide range of solutions which covers all the dimensions of education in K-12 segment. Starting from schools, we have a wide range of classroom solutions, like ClassKonnect, CURRICULUM Library, wide range smart boards, etc. At the same time we have solutions for our students which can be used by them at their home, Classpad and iPerform are solutions which allow for adaptive self paced

There is lot of talk about how Indian education system is not at par globally. Where are we going wrong?

It is good that the debate on education quality has started in India. Just getting children into schools is
not enough. Keeping them productively engaged there and using education as a potent tool for the transformation of their lives is the real challenge.
There are numerous obstacles a stagnant CURRICULUM unlinked to the currently needed skills, lack of teacher motivation, absence of measurement tools and culture for outcomes achieved, poor and misplaced use of technology.

Do you think that education systems like yours will be able to fill the gap?

Education is a COLLABORATIVE project of all stake-holders. We are a critical innovation input which is needed revitalise the system and make it contemporary and relevant. The gap is to fundamental and requires to be placed centre-stage in our national agenda and we need to address it
together.
